The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) claims their clean power plan's sole effort is to simply reduce the impact the United States has on global warming, but is that all?

One of the ways that the EPA plans to accomplish their goal is by reducing carbon outputs by plants within the United States. Many states' revenue's have been affected by this to include, but not limited to plants in Wyoming, North Dakota and Texas.

States that rely on income from these resources in their states are being affected as well as their economies.

Republicans in Congress voted to block the Clean Power Plan, but President Obama has stated that he will veto any bill that blocks the effort.

It has been predicted that if the plan goes through, the cost of energy will go up with no real pay off in helping the environment.
