Are you looking for a great park in Cheyenne just for dogs?Look no farther than the Nancy Mockler Dog Park in Cheyenne. The park has been in Cheyenne since 2003 and I took my dog Jack to the dog park yesterday. He had a blast! A few great things about this park is that they have about 3 separate areas for your dog.

I put Jack in the smaller dog park where he was able to run around and network with other dogs. He actually made a friend while he was there. The fences are reinforced with concrete mesh and chicken wire to help ensure your dogs safety.

When Jack got thirsty, there was a water point there for him to quench his thirst. If your dog is dynamic and likes to climb, there is a place for that too. They have walls and high dog walks to help you and your dog work on his balance and agility. Have you considered happy trails? There are trails that surround the outside of the dog park for them to get some great exercise.

If you live in an apartment, independent living home or a house with a very small yard, I would suggest you go an check out this great opportunity for you and your dog. Don't forget to grab a plastic bag should your dog decide to leave a little surprise behind.

The dog park is located at 800 Southwest in Cheyenne and is open from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekdays and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. They are closed on Wednesday. For more information about the park, call the Cheyenne Animal Shelter at 307-632-6655.
