According to the Wyoming Game and Fish, the Commission once again invested in wildlife crossings to help prevent vehicle collisions with big game, voting to put $500,000 toward the Kemmerer wildlife crossing project on U.S. Highway 189.

To encourage aquarium owners to dispose of their moss balls that could have zebra mussels, Wyoming Game and Fish has launched a month-long take-back program.

The invasive mussels can clog pipes for water systems.

Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon has convened an emergency response team to remove products that carry zebra mussels, contain them and educate the public.

The boat from Canada was last in the water on the St. Lawrence River two years ago.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will once again be offering watercraft and equipment inspection and decontamination training for Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) during May and June at various locations around the state.

The Wyoming Business Alliance has organized a series of economic indicator forums around the state, starting with a presentation May 7th in Cheyenne.
