Laramie County District Attorney Leigh Anne Grant Manlove says she's "confident there is no material or legal basis" for her removal from office.

“This process will unfold as it must, according to the Rules of Disciplinary Procedure, and I am confident I will be exonerated,” Manlove said.

Manlove early Thursday contacted Townsquare Media of Cheyenne and said she would be issuing a statement on the matter sometime today [June 17].

The 90-day suspension will take effect on May 11.

The panel also said a lack of any prior disciplinary action against DeLeon was a significant mitigating factor.

The Wyoming Supreme Court has ordered the one-year suspension of Laramie attorney Michael J. Pearce, effective Aug. 22.
