Maj. Gen. Greg Porter said veterans swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution even at the cost of their own lives.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission referred the matter to the Department of Justice, which sued in 2016.

The U.S. Supreme Court has stated Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act "does not create a 'general civility code for the American workplace.'"

The lawsuit seeks declaratory and injunctive relief requiring the Wyoming Military Department to implement employment policies that prevent hostile work environment harassment based on sex.

The purpose of the meeting is to address the results of a study that reviewed the museum's existing conditions, collection and operations relative to their current facility and location.
