Wyoming Law Enforcement Hall of Fame

The Wyoming Association of Sheriffs and Chiefs of Police inducted four retired lawmen into its Hall of Fame during a Wednesday afternoon ceremony at the Wyoming Capitol.

The Wyoming Peace Officer Memorial Ceremony will be held at the Law Enforcement Academy in Douglas at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 20.

Retired Fremont County Sheriff Tim Mckinney was inducted into the Wyoming Law Enforcement Hall of Fame Friday. The award is sponsored by the Wyoming Association of  Sheriff's and Chiefs of Police. Mckinney began his career as a dispatcher in the Lander Police Department. Then he went to the street and graduated from the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy.
