The Wyoming State Board of Education voted to approve Sublette County School District #1 teacher evaluation system at its July meeting Thursday in Casper.

Wyoming State Board of Education will hold a full-day meeting in Riverton beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, at the Fremont County School District #25 board room located at 121 North 25th St. The SBE will first convene as the State Board of Vocational Education to hear an update from the Wyoming Department of Education and vote on the State Perkins V Transition Plan.

During the business session, the Board will receive an update on the Wyoming Science Content and Performance Standards.

Federal prosecutors say two Wyoming men have been indicted for their roles in the slaying of an Idaho Man. Trevor T. Trujillo has more. The Wyoming Board of Education voted 8-4 Friday to adopt the nation’s common core state standards. This will mean some changes in curricula and statewide assessments.
