Wyoming State Board of Education will hold a full-day meeting in Riverton beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, at the Fremont County School District #25 board room located at 121 North 25th St. The SBE will first convene as the State Board of Vocational Education to hear an update from the Wyoming Department of Education and vote on the State Perkins V Transition Plan.

The Wyoming  Board of Education will begin the process of reviewing  student content and performance standards this month. Amy Richards reports. State Board Adopts National Common Core Standards [AUDIO]
The Wyoming Board of Education voted 8-4 Friday to adopt the nation’s common core state standards. This will mean some changes in curricula and statewide assessments. An $11 million ranch in northern Albany County is one of the few major ranch purchases by the Wyoming Office of  State Lands and Investments. Doug Randall reports.
