wolf hunt area 2 closed

Hunters are alerted that gray wolf hunt area 2, the sunlight management unit northwest of Cody, closed Thursday December 6th at 9:10 a.m. The area closed because the mortality quota of eight wolves was reached. Wolf seasons close in hunt areas where the species is classified as a trophy game animal when the mortality quota is reached or when the season closes on Dec. 31st, whichever comes first. R
