The Snowies could see 5 to 9 inches of snow and winds gusting as high as 55 mph through Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.
Wind Chill Advisories are in effect for most of southeast Wyoming and the northern Nebraska Panhandle starting at 5 p.m. this afternoon through 8 a.m. Thursday.
Up to 10 inches of snow and wind gusts as high as 50 mph are expected in the Sierra Madre and Snowy ranges Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.
Travel could be very difficult along Interstate 80 west of Cheyenne this evening into early Wednesday morning, where up to half a foot of snow could fall.
