An Air Quality Alert has been issued for southeast Wyoming due to smoke filtering into the region from wildfires burning across the western United States.
The Wyoming Department of Health is reminding residents, especially those with heart or respiratory problems, to avoid breathing in air contaminated by smoke from wildfires. Spokeswoman Kim Deti says small children are also susceptible to such air contamination.
