Among cities in surrounding states, Rapid City did very well, ranking 112th in the survey. Colorado Springs was ranked 45th, Aurora at number 52 and Denver came in at number 132.
In a new report by WalletHub, Wyoming ranked 45th across the country when it comes to the quality of each state's economy, with innovation being where Wyoming falls short.
Wyoming did quite well in such things as having the lowest number of teen drug users. But the Cowboy State also had the second-highest per-capita arrest rate in the nation.
