Investigators are trying to determine what sparked a vegetation fire in south Cheyenne Friday afternoon.

Two people were killed and two others injured Wednesday morning in a collision east of Powell, according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

Cheyenne police are investigating an altercation that occurred in the South High School parking lot Thursday morning.

Investigators are still trying to piece together what caused last week's fire at the vacant Hitching Post Inn.

Deputies and detectives remained at the scene as of 8 a.m. Tuesday.
