In March, University of Wyoming trustees announced that they were not renewing president Laurie Nichols' three-year contract.

Notes from the investigators do not indicate that they interviewed Nichols, however, nor is there any written response from the former president.

Nichols recently took a job as president of Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota.

Neil Theobald is serving as the school's interim president.

President Laurie Nichols plans to become a faculty member at UW when her contract expires June 30.

UW board of trustees Chairman Dave True has consistently refused this week to explain the board's decision to not renew Nichols' contract.
