Regularly scheduled trash collection will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 31.

Sanitation officials hope to expand the program to the entire city in about a year or so.

People who normally have their trash picked up on Monday or Tuesday are being asked to have it ready for collection on Saturday morning.

Because of today's weather conditions, Cheyenne sanitation crews were unable to pick up everyone's trash.
