On Wednesday, governor Mark Gordon plans to visit the U.S. southern border along with 10 other Republican governors.

Defense officials also said they would focus on projects set to begin in 2020 and beyond, with the hope that the money could eventually be restored by Congress.

During the 2018 budget year, there were 162,060 claims filed, and 13,168 were granted.
