Pickleball has been growing in popularity all over the country, including in Wyoming

Over the course of the four week period ending Nov. 15, 2020, residents of skilled nursing facilities made up 85% of all COVID-related deaths in Wyoming. For the entire year, nursing home residents have accounted for 71 deaths, or 58% percent of all COVID-related deaths, recorded in Wyoming.

The ongoing pandemic has affected everyone in Wyoming. The hardest hit of anyone has been senior citizens. But WyoLotto has now teamed up with some partners to help seniors in Wyoming have a great holiday season this year.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, students across the country in the Class of 2020 didn't necessarily get a traditional graduation ceremony. But at a Cheyenne Walmart, employees in the Class of 2020 were honored with their own special ceremony.

Senior residents have told state and local agencies they can't get basic necessities like over-the-counter medicines.

Some of the scams focus on romance, technology support, government impersonation schemes, and several other areas.

On the plus side, the report says Wyoming has a low percentage of senior residents who are in hospital intensive care units.
