A big name business in Casper's Eastridge Mall, as well as 1 of 3 remaining K-Mart stores will soon go out of business.

Sears has lost $11.2 billion since 2010, its last profitable year and sales have plunged 60% in that time.

Another Sears Hometown owner reached out to Laramie Live after hearing about the Laramie store closure.

Owners Lindsay and Scott Hartman purchased the store in 2018.

Sears Holding Company announced the closure of 45 Kmart stores and 18 Sears locations. Sears at 1400 Del Range Blvd in Cheyenne WY is on that list.

The latest list includes 16 Sears stores, 49 Kmart stores, and seven auto centers.

Kmart announced that it will be closing 78 stores across the U.S., including one in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
