The district noted that the situation is fluid, and promised to keep everyone updated.

Police are asking anyone with information on the incident to come forward.

The Cheyenne Police Department and Cheyenne Mayor Marian Orr have both issued statements reminding motorists of the special traffic laws in school zones.
