The events that followed 13 members of our military has struck a chord across the country, but especially here in Wyoming with one of our own being taken away far too early at the age of twenty.
It's been one day, a little over 24 hours. In that time, more than $300,000 has been donated to the wife and unborn child of Rylee McCollum, the U.S. Marine from Wyoming who was killed in the suicide bombing terrorist attack that occurred in Afghanistan earlier this week.
Following the news of his death, many of Wyoming's leaders offered their condolences to the McCollum family, including Senator John Barrasso and Congresswoman Liz Cheney.
Rylee McCollum, a Wyoming-born Marine, was one of the 13 U.S. soldiers who was killed in the suicide bombing at an Afghanistan airport in the country's capital of Kabul.
