Former Rep. Scott Clem accused Governor Mark Gordon of tyranny in regard to state health mandates.

Rep. Scott Clem said in his post on Tuesday ''Politicians are snakes. Every one of them that voted to create currency and steal from you last night should be fired. ''

Rep. Clem, in an interview on Wednesday with Glenn Woods on the ''Wakeup Wyoming" program, said Dumbrill was ''unhinged" at the meeting and referred to the event as ''mayhem."

During his time in the House, he has been a leading conservative voice in the legislature, consistently speaking out and voting in favor of pro-life and gun rights legislation, among other issues.

Among other things, the letter says the governor has suspended constitutional rights, specifically the right to worship and the right to assemble.

Clem also says there is nothing in either the Wyoming or U.S. constitutions that allows the government to shut down businesses and order people not to go to work.

Rep. Clem has commented several times on social media and in a letter to the governor about what he feels is excessive damage to the state economy caused by the restrictions.

A Wyoming lawmaker has been commenting recently about what he feels is the need to re-open the state economy sooner rather than later. Rep. Scott Clem , on his Facebook page "Rep. Scott Clem For Wyoming House District 31"' has commented over the past week or so about what he feels is the danger being posed by businesses remaining closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. ...

Clem in his letter asked the governor ""Are we going to shut down the Wyoming economy for 4-8 weeks at a time intermittently over the next 18 months?''

KGAB news attempted to contact Wyoming Equality Executive Director Sara Burlingame via both email and telephone on Tuesday morning about Clem's comments but did not receive an immediate response.
