The unofficial outcome of Tuesday's 6th penny election will stand, Laramie County Clerk Debra Lee announced late Wednesday afternoon.

Laramie County voters approved more than $128 million worth of 6th penny projects Tuesday.

The campaign also says it will ask for a recount in Wisconsin, a state The Associated Press called for Biden on Wednesday afternoon.

In Wisconsin, if a race is within 1 percentage point, the trailing candidate can force a recount.

Republican Gov. Rick Scott has alleged — without citing evidence — that elections officials in South Florida are trying to "steal" the election for Democrats.

The recount leaves the proposition passing by just over 100 votes.
