According to a news release both the Sheriff’s Department and Clerk of the District Court’s Office have received reports from citizens who had a call from an individual claiming that the victim missed jury duty and must pay a fine and fees otherwise a warrant would be issued and they would be arrested.

Cheyenne Light, Fuel & Power is warning customers of a nationwide scam that wrongly claims President Barack Obama is providing credits or applying payments to utility bills. The scammers have phoned customers or contacted them in person, posted fliers and used social media and text messages to perpetuate the scam.
