A 36-year-old Cheyenne transient being sought on a felony warrant is now behind bars.

A wanted Fort Collins, Colorado man is behind bars after he was reportedly caught loitering at a Cheyenne motel.

The occupant, so far identified only as a 33-year-old Casper man, retrieved a firearm and shot at the suspect through the door.

The sheriff's office got a call at 8:21 p.m. about a man who was threatening people with a 10-12 inch knife at the Motel 6 at 3900 Mulberry Street.
