A 36-year-old Cheyenne man currently jailed for failing to pay restitution fees in a felony theft case is facing new charges.

Cheyenne police have identified the man they say stole more than $1,400 worth of merchandise from the Kum & Go at 3354 E. Lincolnway last month.

Cheyenne police are asking for the public's help in finding a stolen car and whoever took it.

A 38-year-old Cheyenne man is behind bars after allegedly robbing a convenience store at knifepoint early Thursday morning.

Officer Kevin Malatesta says the duo stole a Ford F-250 from the Kum & Go at 215 E. Lincolway on May 8.

No one was injured, but the family of four was displaced and received assistance with lodging from the Red Cross of Wyoming.

Schwartz was charged with aggravated robbery, felony possession of crack and false reporting. If convicted, he could face five to 32 years in prison.
