The 2020 spring wild turkey hunting season has been extended to May 31st by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department thanks to an emergency rule from Gov. Mark Gordon.
Morgan Pfander, regional wildlife population biologist, said Fish and Game collects samples from an animal's lymph nodes behind the throat at the base of the skull.
As of yesterday, Wyoming residents and nonresidents are allowed to start putting in their applications for big game hunting, according to the Ravalli Republic.
