Several opponents of the bill said that in rural Wyoming communities, where most people know one another, there is no reason to require photos ID for people to vote.

Rep. Chuck Gray, who sponsored the bill, questioned how anyone can know that voter fraud is not happening in Wyoming under the current voting laws.
