Interstate 80 in Wyoming is back open after a 26-hour closure due to winter conditions.

I've known about frostbite my whole life but have only been vaguely aware of what exactly it is.

The National Weather Service on Monday issued a number of wind chill advisories throughout the Cowboy State which will take effect at 11 p.m. Monday and expire Tuesday morning.

The weather service is warning people to dress warmly, keep pets indoors, and take precautions against frostbite.

People are being warned about the possibility of frostbite and hypothermia, and also that pets should not be left outdoors.

The service says frostbite and hypothermia could develop quickly under these conditions.
