Fridays on the Plaza

Well, like a quick sneeze, Summer 2021 is coming to an end.

It's been a long strange road, or whatever half your friends put in their yearbook. We've made it to the end of summer, kind of.

I can't believe how close we are to September. With that, we only have TWO more Fridays On The Plaza to attend

These Summer weeks keep racing by.

This week has oddly moved quickly.

We're already 9 weeks into Summer

Cheyenne is two for two, two weeks in a row for classic hip hop artists doing incredible free shows.

This past Saturday night (July 24th), it was a special Saturday edition of 'Fridays On the Plaza' and the rapper Baby Bash put on a free show with a crowd that was certainly ready to party given the surrounding events in the midst of Cheyenne Frontier Days. During the show, Baby Bash was outspoken about the potential legalization of marijuana in the Cowboy State.

I know that headline has you scratching your head, but this week, we get, not one, but TWO days of Fridays On The Plaza

Cheyenne police say they haven't seen an increase in drinking-related calls or citations in the downtown area since the city's new open container law took effect on May 27.
