It's been a warm month in Cheyenne but it won't be long before the first freeze of the season arrives.

An incoming spring storm is expected to dump more than four inches of heavy, wet snow on Laramie and drop temperatures as low as 23 degrees.

Monday could be the coldest Oct. 26 in Cheyenne in 142 years, according to the National Weather Service.
