The Laramie County Sheriff's Office says it is working on ways to better care for inmates who have chemical dependency and mental health issues.

Wyoming did quite well in such things as having the lowest number of teen drug users. But the Cowboy State also had the second-highest per-capita arrest rate in the nation.

Local law enforcement agencies will be collecting unwanted prescription and over-the-counter drugs on Saturday, Oct. 27.
