Extreme fire danger has prompted the Laramie County Board of Commissioners to impose Stage 1 fire restrictions within the county.

Wyoming is currently navigating through the worst drought since 2013 and 97% of the state is feeling the dry conditions.

Dry conditions are expected this summer, and more stringent restrictions could be imposed at some point.
