Senator Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming recently spoke on the Senate Floor, voicing her opposition to President Biden’s nomination of Representative Deb Haaland as Secretary of the Interior.
Lummis argued that the bill was passed “without Republican input” and said that it “contains millions of dollars in spending completely unrelated to COVID-19 relief.”
In a statement made just after her vote, Lummis called the trial an "unconstitutional Distraction that Does Nothing to Help Wyoming Families & Businesses Still Being Impacted by COVID-19.”
