Meanwhile, the COMEA emergency and transition facility on Stinson Avenue will be shut down Sept. 6-12 so a local exterminator can apply a heating method that kills bed bugs throughout the facility and in all the bedding.

On Saturday May 12, Cheyenne and Laramie County letter carriers will help ''stamp out hunger" by conducting the largest single day food drive in the nation, according to Sara Weber with United Way of Laramie County. She says people can contribute to the drive by leaving non- perishable items such as canned goods, rice and pasta by their mail boxes Saturday.
