The Cheyenne Police Department’s Citizens on Patrol will be performing crime prevention and enforcement duties in the city’s heavy shopping areas this Friday.

Officer Dan Long says the agency is currently four people short of being fully staffed, and is making up some of that difference by using the citizen volunteers.
