Casper Fire-EMS

At approximately 7:50 a.m. Casper Fire-EMS units were dispatched to a structure fire in the area of Yucca Circle, according to a recent press release on their social media page.

Multiple agencies have responded to an incident near North Poplar and First Street, in which a vehicle drove off the road and into the North Platte River.

Damage to the home was extensive to the point that it was left uninhabitable.

The residents in the home made it out prior to firefighters arriving.

Video shows a house on fire in west Casper that caused enough damage to displace the occupants. Occupants were not home at the time of the fire, and pets were rescued, including a dog that was rescued by a neighbor through a window.

The Fremont County Coroner's Office will make known the victims' identifications identifications after the families are notified.

With at least four weather-related crashes reported Monday morning, the Casper Fire-EMS Department is urging the public to exercise extreme caution when passing accident scenes.

The call came in at 12:20 p.m. Thursday.

As firefighters searched the home, they found two dogs and rescued them unharmed.

Additionally, two dogs were removed from the home, with one dying.
