'Tis the season for car break-ins, and Cheyenne police are reminding last-minute Christmas shoppers to "Lock It or Lose It."

Police are asking anyone who may know who the suspect is to contact Officer Lohnes in reference to case 19-53171.

Anyone who may have information on the pair is being asked to call Rock Springs Police Dispatch at (307) 352-1575.

The thefts happened in broad daylight at one of Cheyenne's busiest parks.

Cheyenne police are investigating 72 reports of car burglaries that have occurred so far this year.

Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Officer Dan Long says that while car burglaries have long been one of the most common crimes in Cheyenne, the problem seems to be getting worse recently.
