Those wanting to run for local or state office in this year's primary can begin filing at 8 a.m. next Thursday, May 14.

Wyomingites wishing to run for U.S. Representative or state office have until 5 p.m. this Friday to file.

State Elections Director Peggy Nighswonger said the filing period will begin on May 15th and close on May 30th.
