The Veterans Of Foreign Wars [VFW] Post 1881 is hosting a Memorial Day ceremony to honor and remember those who paid the ultimate price in defense of freedom.

Several events are planned this weekend to honor veterans in the Cheyenne area.

Memorial Day in Cheyenne is a big deal among residents, bikers, dignitaries, veterans and military people alike. It was a day to remember, and remember we did.

Several hundred people turned out for the annual Memorial Day Wreath Laying  Ceremony at Beth El Cemetery in Cheyenne.  The event was sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1881 and American Legion Post 6 sponsor the event.
