Anthony Rodriguez was sentenced last month to 70 years to life behind bars for the murder of Mary Fogle.

On Thursday, Itzen dismissed Rodriguez's actions on the witness stand as a theater, a position he furthered during his closing arguments on Friday.

Anthony Rodriguez is charged with first-degree murder,f felony murder and domestic battery.

The trial will continue Friday morning.

The trial is expected to continue Tuesday afternoon.

If convicted, Rodriguez faces mandatory life sentences with the possibility of parole on both the murder and felony murder charges.
