Authorities are on the lookout for two young men who escaped a Colorado juvenile offender facility and are sex offenders.

Javier Madera, 19, and Emilio Dominguez, 17, fled the Lookout Mountain Youth Services Center early Monday morning in Golden. Anyone who sees the individuals are asked to call 911 immediately and to not approach them.

According to a City of Golden press release, a guard at the facility last saw the two roommates between midnight and 1 a.m. when he let them use the restroom.

A routine perimeter check at 2:21 a.m. found nothing unusual. Another check at 5:20 a.m. found a dumpster turned on its side and sheets hanging out of a window from the second floor of the building. A window had also been broken out.

Madera is 5-foot-10 and weighs 147 pounds. He has a skull tattoo on his right forearm and has prior gang affiliations.

Dominguez is 5-foot-9 and weighs 182 pounds. He has the word "king" tattooed on his right hand, and roses and his last name tattooed on his right arm.
