Authorities are searching near the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park for man who failed to return from a day hike on Wednesday.

Jeff Murphy, 53, from Batavia, Ill., was last seen at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the Rescue Creek Trailhead near the north entrance. He intended to hike to Turkey Pen Peak.
