This is the day and age of scammers and hackers and we all need to walk circumspect when it comes to these type of things. They are out to get your money, once again.

This is not only an email scam, but also a money wiring scam from people that are out to trick home buyers into thinking their realtor has them sending money to a different location, other than what was previously discussed.

According to the Federal Trade Commission, the hackers send an email instructing the home buyer to wire money to another account.

The 'other account' just happens to be an overseas account. Once the hackers get the home buyers information, they can wipe out their whole banking account, with no way to retrieve the stolen money.

Should you receive an email from your 'realtor' instructing you to wire money elsewhere, pick up the phone and call them, to verify that the email is true. It should save yourself a lot of money and a lot of heartache.
