Would you like to become the next Stanley Kubrick?

If you consider yourself a film maker, get your camera ready for the Fast Film Making Festival coming to Cheyenne, you have between September 19 and October 3 to produce your movie.

The former Shootout Cheyenne is now known as the Fast Film Making Festival and in-person registration begins at 4 p.m. at the Plains Hotel on Friday, September 19. A briefing will be held at 6 p.m. to go over requirements for your seven-minute film.

This year's festival will focus on the rich history of the Capitol City. The deadline to upload your movie is October 3.

A film maker's reception and concert will be held on Saturday, October 4, at the Atlas Theatre beginning at 6 p.m. featuring music by Jalan Crossland, the cost is $20. The top 10 films will be screened on Sunday, October 5, at the Atlas starting at 1 p.m., admission is only $5 at the door.
