The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Fire Warning for much of southeast Wyoming for Thursday, Sept. 24.

The warning will be in effect from noon until 8 p.m. tomorrow, as warm, dry weather and breezy conditions increase the fire danger.

The agency posted this statement on its website:

''5 AM September 23rd: A Red Flag Warning has been issued for portions of southeast Wyoming for Thursday from 12-8 PM MDT due to a combination of strong winds and low relative humidity. Outdoor burning is not recommended."
