“Project Prom” Offers Free Dresses

Cheyenne’s ‘Project Prom’ will offer free formal dresses to students for senior high school graduation and junior high school promotion. The dresses will be made available at the ‘Project Proms’ downtown location, 213 W.18thStreet, Cheyenne, WY 82001.

Project Prom provides formal dresses (at no charge) for students who might otherwise not be able to purchase a dress.

Donations of gently used/clean gowns are also being accepted. Dress donations can be dropped off at ‘Just Dandy’ clothing store at 212 W. 17th Street, Cheyenne, WY 82001 or ‘Project Prom’s’ new 213 W. 18th Street location.

Financial donations are also being accepted.

‘Project Prom’ is in its ninth year and has provided almost two-thousand formal dresses to local students. The non-profit is also accepting new volunteers – please contact Jean Richardson if you would like to take part in this project.
