Poll: Would You Use The $24 Billion Hyperloop?
It's not a done deal yet, but Colorado is in the running for a futuristic transportation system that could move passengers and freight at speeds of up to 700 miles per hour using a pod and tube system.
The system would link Cheyenne with Denver, Pueblo, and Vail. Colorado officials are looking into the project, which would cost an estimated $24 billion to build. The cost would not be paid for by the state.
The Los Angeles-based Hyperloop One named the Colorado proposal as one of ten finalists for the new system earlier this month. Hyperloop would use pods lifted above a track by magnetic levitation as it's transporting vehicles.
If the proposal becomes a reality, would you be willing to use it?
