Open Houses Slated for Power Station Proposal

Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power will be hosting open houses over the next few weeks. The proposed facility would be  located within Cheyenne city limits three miles east of the city. Cheyenne Light is currently undergoing the industrial siting permit process. The utility says the proposed Cheyenne Prairie Generating Station will include state of the art emissions controls. The open houses are scheduled for Wednesday, January 25th from 11am to 3pm and again on Saturday, February 18th from 11am to 3pm. Both events are scheduled for the Cheyenne Holiday Inn at 204 West Fox Farm Road.
