Mayor Asking For Applications for DDA Board

Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen is asking for volunteers to serve on the Downtown Development Authority Board of Directors. Kaysen says by ordinance a majority of the board members must either live in downtown Cheyenne or own or lease property there. Kaysen says it would also be helpful to have a business background, some planning experience, and a desire to see the downtown area grow and prosper. Kaysen says board members should expect to devote 10 hours or so a month to their duties, which include regular monthly meetings. Applicants can apply at cityofcheyenne.org. The deadline to apply is Friday, October 12.
