A 36-year-Larimer County man is being held on $350,000 bond after being arrested in connection with a shooting incident on April 16.

That's according to a post on the Larimer County Sheriff's Office Facebook page. According to the post, deputies were called to the 4000 block of West Eisenhower on a report of a man being shot.

When deputies got there, the victim, who is not identified in the post, told them he had been shot twice by Micheal Barrett. The victim told deputies that he and Barrett had gotten into a physical fight earlier that evening, but had been separated,

But later in the evening Barrett confronted him again, shot him twice, and then left the area. The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, according to the release, but has since been released.

Barret was arrested on the following charges:

1st Degree Assault (F3)
