A 19-year-old Aurora, Colorado man was arrested Monday after reportedly leading Nebraska and Wyoming authorities on a chase that reached speeds in excess of 100 mph.

Wyoming Highway Patrol spokesman Sgt. Jeremy Beck says the agency was notified around 10:23 a.m. of a pursuit in Nebraska headed west on Interstate 80.

Wyoming troopers took over the chase near the state line and were able to successfully deploy spike strips and get the driver, Nathaniel J. Garcia, to stop near Campstool Road.

Beck says the vehicle Garcia was driving was reported stolen out of Fort Collins, Colorado.

Garcia faces charges of eluding, driving under suspension, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and reckless driving.
